CYSO Spring PosterThe Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras presents two concerts at Symphony Center every year. In Spring 2024, the finale of the concert was Stravinsky’s Petrushka. Arm & A Leg (Dir. Sam Clayton)Arm & a leg is a story of impassioned, clumsy rebellion against the unspoken rules of contemporary bourgeois life. April's behavior is a radical attempt to poke holes in the concept of "normalcy," an earnest effort to re-introduce a personal sense of embodiment, and a sort of allergic reaction to the illusion of happiness that is her life. Arm & a leg examines the spiritual costs of pursuing a comfortable life, and imagines an unusual way of finding out what really matters. Greek Weird Wave meets Glenview, Illinois.

Directed by Sam Clayton
Produced by Tristan Baumeister and Madie Giaconia

Humdrum Ecstasy (Short Film)Humdrum Ecstasy is a short narrative film directed by Haoshu Deng and produced by Andrew Kline and Sophie Pedro Torres. The film features cinematography by Mia Mylvaganam and stars J.G. Singhal.
